AC Hotels by Marriott
In 2016, Vesta Hospitality was selected as the preferred developer for the port’s Terminal 1 hotel property. The Vancouver-based developer is partnered with Marriott, architecture firm DLR Group, and construction firm Robertson & Olson to build the AC Hotel by Marriott.

Work was completed on the AC Hotel by Marriot at Terminal 1 in 2022 and the hotel is now open for guests. One feature of the hotel is the wall in the hotel lobby which pays tribute to the G.M. Standifer Wood Shipyard which occupied this space more than 100 years ago.
